PIDAT INSTRUCTION PROGRAM

Hello PLC Users, I have recently final year project for my college. And i make PID instruction to control pressure and used VFD to control the pump. also used 4-20mA for Pressure sensor and 0-10V for VFD. But, i don't know how to use PIDAT instruction, please help me to understanding PIDAT Instruction, or do you have example ladder for my problem.

Hi vnxxvii,

In the attached file you can find some examples of how you can use PIDAT.

There are two ways with the Instruction PIDAT and also with a FB.

PID_Manual Section: PIDAT Instruction (see instruction help for more info).

PID_FB Section:Example with Function Block.

The demo is with CP1L-EM , Oprion Boards MAB221 and ADB21V1

Can I use this program for CP1H XA40DRA? And what about the program of analog input and analog output?

Yes, the PIDAT(191) instruction will work with the CP1H.

Hi, 

I am using same ADunit channel ( 2502) for  SV & PV in the PIDAT instruction. When the execution start the DIFU will save the current value as SV.

I am suing AD081 and PLC read as UINT 0-4000.  My doubt is Do i need to scale the 0-4000 to 0-4095 for the SV & PV.?
