akhan Posted November 7, 2019 Report Posted November 7, 2019 I have direct logic 305 plc and the DCU is faulty and I need to extract a copy of the program to have as a back up. Is there anyway of doing this without the DCU
gclshortt Posted November 11, 2019 Report Posted November 11, 2019 https://cdn.automationdirect.com/static/manuals/qsdsoft/qsdsoft.pdf The above is a quick start guide. https://cdn.automationdirect.com/static/manuals/d3dcu/d3dcu.pdf The DCU error can be a CPU or Base communication error. Try connecting to the PLC and see if you can communicate to download the software. (See link above.) Regards, Garry
