Virtaul Axis - Simulation

Is it possible to simulate a servo axis in Sysmac Studio? Can you create a virtual axis and then set velocity & position for this virtual axis?

If this is possible, is there an example program that anyone can share with me?

Yes, you can.  It doesn't even have to be a virtual axis though.  You can be setting up a real axis and then run it in simulation.  It does also work with virtual axes though...

Here is a quick program.  Enable the servo, then issue the move command, then stop.  There is a trace in the program that I ran in simulation for you to take a look at.
