Mitsubishi Fx3u-40m memory Cassette

I have a Fx3u-48 PLC with error.The program is locked with password.The PLC has memory cassette.i do not know has the memory cassette is locked with password or not.Can i buy a new same model PLC and insert this memory cassette to new PLC ,can this work?what i should do...

That should work. But even though the program is  locked you should be able read the error code.
Maybe the error can be solved without having to change hardware. could be a calculation error or something else

No you cannot read the program, But you can read the error code (diagnostics)
