Hi! I have a problem with a PSU module of a SIMATIC S5-115U. This PLC control a KBA rotative offset, a operator push a Stop botton ahd the PSU shutdown. I replace a damper diode and the PSU switch on but when mount this module in a machine with load, the PSU shutdown. With a new PSU works fine. Some sugestion for repair this fault? Are possible see the schematics? Regards!!!

Sounds like it's cooked, i've seen a few of these go south (main reasons are electrical guys replacing fuses/dc trip put back in repeatedly while a fault exists) They are repairiable but for the price of repair against the price of a replacement your better of taking the replacement route

Do you know which kind of sensor is used to detect the speed of fans in PSU for S5-135? Looks like diode but I dont know the type. Regards Ed

If it shuts down with only a load attached it sounds like a faulty component going down under temperature rather than a fan speed problem as that'd knock it out instantly rather than only when a load is applied.
