cyrus Posted March 11, 2020 Report Posted March 11, 2020 Hi dears, I'm programming CS1D omron PLC, I created one project but in project tree i dont have function block section. when i change the cpu to CJ1 for example function block section will be add. how can i add function block to CS1D in my project? thanks.
gtsuport Posted March 11, 2020 Report Posted March 11, 2020 Pretty sure the CS1 does not support function blocks. This is an old processor design. gtsuport 1
Michael Walsh Posted March 11, 2020 Report Posted March 11, 2020 CS1G-H and CS1H-H processors support Function Blocks, but not all of the CS1D processors. If it is there for your processor, then it supports Function blocks, if it is not there, then your processor does not support Function Blocks. 1
cyrus Posted March 11, 2020 Author Report Posted March 11, 2020 (edited) Thank you for your reply My cpu is CS1D-CPU65H Then it does not support function block,is it true? When i selected this cpu i think this is newest and perfect cpu ( similiar to S7 400H ) Note: I must chose a redundant cpu and i chose cs1d. Sorry i am newbe in omron Thank you for your information Edited March 11, 2020 by cyrus
BobB Posted March 12, 2020 Report Posted March 12, 2020 Check the model number - CS1D-HCPU67A does support FBs.
gtsuport Posted March 12, 2020 Report Posted March 12, 2020 See the chart below. For Function Blocks you will need CS1D-CPU67HA or CS1D-CPU68HA. 1
cyrus Posted March 13, 2020 Author Report Posted March 13, 2020 No we bought all of modules and can not change.
BobB Posted March 13, 2020 Report Posted March 13, 2020 Then have a look at a Red Lion protocol translator - have used those before for Modbus TCP with the CS1D. https://www.redlion.net/protocol-converters
gtsuport Posted March 13, 2020 Report Posted March 13, 2020 I/O modules would be the same for both processors.
cyrus Posted March 13, 2020 Author Report Posted March 13, 2020 We bought cpu 65h and change is not possible. Thank you
