Kdawg Posted September 3, 2020 Report Posted September 3, 2020 Im trying to create some rungs to monitor some PLC Faults. AC Down, I/O Module Fuse, Op Error, PRG time over, Low Battery, Clock Data, StBy Mode, Annuuciators, LED Instructions. However, I cant figure out what logic to use in order to display these faults as the Addressing is limited. Can anyone help?
Gambit Posted September 4, 2020 Report Posted September 4, 2020 (edited) What do you mean/want to accomplish ? All this info is already on devices. Addressing is limited??? How so ? Edited September 4, 2020 by Gambit
Kdawg Posted September 4, 2020 Author Report Posted September 4, 2020 I’m trying to put in some rungs which will trigger alarms for each of those points. In the manual it states in registers SD 207-SD209? That’s only 3. For 11 different alarms. The manual says it goes by priority but does say when it triggers were it resides. My local rep suggested SD0. But again it’s only one. Would like 11 inputs to trigger 11 (M3000). Can u suggest something? Your help is greatly appreciated
Kdawg Posted September 4, 2020 Author Report Posted September 4, 2020 This is the logic . Just need addressing for each alarm
Kdawg Posted September 4, 2020 Author Report Posted September 4, 2020 This is what I want to achieve. Just need proper addresses
Gambit Posted September 4, 2020 Report Posted September 4, 2020 AC down = SM53 Blown fuse detection = SM60 Operation error = SM56 PRG.TIME OVER = SD81.B Battery low latch = SM51 Battery low = SM52 You can find them all in your e-manual viewer PAGE SH080483ENG-PDF470 Appendix 2
Gambit Posted September 4, 2020 Report Posted September 4, 2020 You can also just check the error code in SD0
Kdawg Posted September 4, 2020 Author Report Posted September 4, 2020 kindly thanking Gambit so much! Appreciated the help and information!!
