Sysmac Studio simulation, Variables not loaded

I'm trying to simulate my ST program on Sysmac Studio version 1.40 using the NS integrated simulator alongside NA simulator. The problem is that none of my variables are loading. When simulating there is a box next to the variables that I believe is meant to be for the value, I was unable to upload an image of the box, but it simply says "Not Loaded". I've been using CX- programmer for a few years but I'm new to Sysmac, so i haven't figured out all the quirks yet. Thank you for any responses.

You can't simulate NS and NA at same time.  When you start combined simulation, it asks NA Series or NS Series.
