SUPERVISOR Posted March 24, 2021 Report Posted March 24, 2021 Hello Guys This is my first time in MRPLC. I have a machine working with old E200 HMI and it lost its operating programm. I tried to upload its programm but it is G1 file type and couldnt upload using GT DESIGNER3 as I cant find this old model in GOT type. Also couldnt comunicate using Serial CAB 5 cable. Any help is highly appreciated. Regards 1
Gambit Posted March 24, 2021 Report Posted March 24, 2021 (edited) You can't program this with GT designer. You need E-designer. The programming cable in the help file in the software. I think it was like this but you should be able to find it in E-Designer help PC side HMI side 2 - 2 3 - 3 5 - 5 6,4,1 connected on PLC side 7,8 connected on PLC side Here is a video of the software. I don't know if you should trust the download link though. Better to get is via your Mitsubishi Dealer Edited March 24, 2021 by Gambit
SUPERVISOR Posted March 24, 2021 Author Report Posted March 24, 2021 Hello Gambit. Thank you for your soft reply. The thing that the machine supplier sent me programm but mentioned it will not work exept on GT WORKS 3. I opened the file on GT DESIGNER 3 but couldnt comunicate to HMI. I guss I need to convert file from G1 file type to mpa but dont know how. Looking forward your help. Thanks in advance.
Gambit Posted March 24, 2021 Report Posted March 24, 2021 (edited) Than you have to contact the machine supplier again because GT designer is for GOT and E designer for E-terminals. There is a way to convert E-designer projects to GOT but not vice versa. The have to have an. MPA file for the E200 Edited March 24, 2021 by Gambit
