HMI Screen not acknowledging the user alarm

Hey Guys, 

So i am working with Omron software to integrate it with the HMI screen.  Whenever I receive a user alarm, I have an acknowledge button on the screen, but when I click on it,  the alarm does not go away from the screen,  it is acknowledged though. 

 

Can anyone please guide me to what changes I have to make in the system to make the alarm notification go away, or is this any sort of a bug in the Omron software ??

Is the Alarm cleared?

The alarm must be Acknowledged in the HMI and Cleared in the PLC for it to go away. I'm assuming this alarm is generated in a PLC.

The other possibility is you have HistoricalMode checked in the Alarm Viewer Properties.

Alarms will display in their active and acknowledged states. As long as the alarm condition is true, it will continue to display, whether acknowledged or not.

If you switch to Historical Mode, they will also show after the alarm condition is cleared.
