glavanov Posted September 20, 2021 Report Posted September 20, 2021 Hi all. The latest FX5 firmware enables simple CPU communication over ethernet (that includes S7-300/400 PLCs). I need to read some data blocks from S7-300. The manual says first 3 digits = DB number (1-255) and last 3 digits for the word address in the block. Is that mean that i can't read DB1101, since DB001-255 are allawed, or i'm missing somthing here?
panic mode Posted September 21, 2021 Report Posted September 21, 2021 that is my interpretation as well.... range is 001000 to 255511 where first three digits represent DB number. so DB001 - DB255. 1
glavanov Posted September 22, 2021 Author Report Posted September 22, 2021 (edited) Well... it is what it is. I'll just stick with GOT Simple data transfer between S7 and FX5. i was just hoping to eliminate the intermediary and make the comms more simple and reliable. Thank you panic mode.
