cartduty Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 Hello everyone, I am working with a mitsubishi fx-2n. I need to convert the decimal data in a Dw to a hex equivelant. I could not find any instruction to do this. Does anyone know if one exist? Thanks!!
mjrx Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 You can view the data value in monitor mode as hex or decimal constant. Go to Online->Monitor->Change Current Value Hexadecimal. If data is going to an HMI, most HMI's allow display format in Int or Hex. Constants can be prefixed with an H (instead of K) for hex constants. I am not sure if this is what you are looking for.
cartduty Posted March 21, 2005 Author Report Posted March 21, 2005 Yes you were right. I was reading a DW to a HMI. I didn't even think to check the format in the HMI! DUH! Thanks Again!
Guest Brandon Posted April 7, 2005 Report Posted April 7, 2005 You also can always go to the windows calculator and change it over to the scintific mode. You can then put a decimal value in and covert it to hex. Just an easy tool everyone has.
