skyfox Posted November 10, 2021 Report Posted November 10, 2021 From what I understand, NX1P2 has a multi-core processor. Does that mean the primary task runs on a separate thread from secondary tasks?(i.e. Never Interrupted by secondary tasks) Or, can primary task get interrupted by a secondary task if their timing somehow overlap at one point or another? (i.e. All tasks running on the same thread.) Thanks.
Crossbow Posted November 11, 2021 Report Posted November 11, 2021 NX701 has a multi-core CPU. Not NX1P2. Regardless, secondary tasks can NEVER interrupt the primary. The primary can pause a secondary while it runs, and then continue where it left off. But secondary are lower priority than than the mast task... There is a clear explanation of this in the manuals. Section 5 of manual W501. It show timing charts of how multiple tasks get executed.
