From what I understand, NX1P2 has a multi-core processor. Does that mean the primary task runs on a separate thread from secondary tasks?(i.e. Never Interrupted by secondary tasks) Or, can primary task get interrupted by a secondary task if their timing somehow overlap at one point or another? (i.e. All tasks running on the same thread.)

Thanks.

NX701 has a multi-core CPU.  Not NX1P2.

Regardless, secondary tasks can NEVER interrupt the primary.  The primary can pause a secondary while it runs, and then continue where it left off.  But secondary are lower priority than than the mast task...

There is a clear explanation of this in the manuals.  Section 5 of manual W501.  It show timing charts of how multiple tasks get executed.
