sandymax Posted March 26, 2005 Report Posted March 26, 2005 Hi My question related to Quantum PLC usiing Concept v 2.5 Sotware i am using a PCFL -AIN Block in which i am input the Flow data now i need to scale it to 0 GPM to 2000 GPM the Parameter Block Shows Parameter Block (Middle Node) The length of the AIN parameter block is 14 registers: Register Content Displayed Input from a 3x register First implied Reserved Second implied Output Status Third implied Input Status Fourth and fifth implied Scale 100% engineering units Sixth and seventh implied Scale 0% engineering units Eighth and ninth implied Manual input 10th and 11th implied Auto input 12th and 13th implied Output What i should add 0 to Sixth and seventh and 2000 to Fourth and fifth ? Crossbow Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 The scaled value should be a real number, which takes 32 bits (2 words) to store. So you move the real number 0.0 to the 6th and 2000.0 to the 4th. The 5th and 7th will also be used to store this number. Quote
