Help with AL2 14MR-D with flow sensor

Hi, I have an old Mitsubishi AL2 14MR-D application controller. I would like to connect to it a hall effect water flow sensor that has 3 wires - common, +5V and the pulse output.

is it possible to connect it to the input/s of the controller and if so, how? my aim is that it will count a up to a pre set value and then will close a contact on it's output.
