FergNZ Posted March 21, 2022 Report Posted March 21, 2022 Omron with a error we can not clear old machine which has a lot of different people working on if, I have been left with it like this. I would like to see if I can get it going. 0x00D0 Duplex / Special IO unit error. I see this as a CPU error but the old parts are hard to come by. any ideas ?
gtsuport Posted March 21, 2022 Report Posted March 21, 2022 What does the IO Table look like. gtsuport
IO_Rack Posted March 21, 2022 Report Posted March 21, 2022 From the looks of your picture, you have 2 Special I/O modules. The Host Link unit and (I think) a High Speed Counter module. As gtsuport mentioned, check the I/O Table. Make sure the Unit Numbers in the program match the dial settings on each unit.
FergNZ Posted March 21, 2022 Author Report Posted March 21, 2022 ill get back to it tonight. but from what I tried last time the IO tables will always go blank after a power cycle. I upload the Tables separately, but still no operation of the machine and the same fault listed above. How do I check the dial settings you refer too?
FergNZ Posted March 22, 2022 Author Report Posted March 22, 2022 I’m sure the special IO address is correct. it is set to machine number 0 and is coded in the IO table to 100
FergNZ Posted March 22, 2022 Author Report Posted March 22, 2022 (edited) Still stuck on fault 0x00D0 Duplex / Special IO error I tired to translate the error flags to narrow down the fault to a unit, but I'm not 100% sure on how this is done. I was not getting the expected results out of the Memory for fault codes. I am swinging towards the error being the high speed counter, PN# C200H-ct001-v1, the reason for this is that it is the only unit with a special IO address (100) as screen shot below. I believe this was changed recently, so I am unsure of the addressing, and dip switch settings. But I am sure this was changed at install. Edited March 22, 2022 by FergNZ
gtsuport Posted March 22, 2022 Report Posted March 22, 2022 Link to manual for the CT001-V1 C200H-CT001-V1 gtsuport 1
FergNZ Posted March 22, 2022 Author Report Posted March 22, 2022 Thanks I did read that manual. but again the memory logs don’t help much with the fault codes
gtsuport Posted March 22, 2022 Report Posted March 22, 2022 What values are in DM1000 - DM1099. This is the DM area associated with Special I/O unit zero. gtsuport
