jrtZincovery Posted April 6, 2023 Report Posted April 6, 2023 I have a PLC connected to a router and am able to access it over wifi. The router hosts a VPN server and I have established a connection to it and can access other devices. I am unable to ping/ connect to PLC. Anyone know why? Have tried disabling firewall on my remote computer. Quote
pturmel Posted April 6, 2023 Report Posted April 6, 2023 Did you enable any kind of routing on the remote end so packets from your machine know how to navigate to the PLC and back? A VPN itself doesn't provide that. Quote
photovoltaic Posted April 6, 2023 Report Posted April 6, 2023 Are you saying this based on the "Test Connection" button results? Sometimes this feature doesn't work over a VPN but you can still go online. Quote
