Yuto24 Posted August 28, 2023 Report Posted August 28, 2023 Greetings! How can I measure the current voltage of my 24V Battery using a FX5U, I need the PLC to turn on different outputs depending on how much charge is on the battery. Quote
Crossbow Posted August 29, 2023 Report Posted August 29, 2023 You can't directly. You would need an analog input to read a variable value, and most of those are 0-10V. You should be able to find some kind of device which can read the battery voltage and output a 0-10V analog signal. 4-20mA would also work. You will need an appropriate analog input module for the PLC as well. Quote
WattUp Posted August 30, 2023 Report Posted August 30, 2023 If you can make due with 4 voltage level triggers, this might work for you. https://www.automationdirect.com/adc/shopping/catalog/process_control_-a-_measurement/signal_conditioners/limit_alarms_(analog_input,_relay_output)/fc-3rly4 Quote
