Guest Neil Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 I have never worked with an Omron PLC before but I have worked with a TCP screens all the time when talking with an Allen-Bradley PLC. The question I have is what is the best memory to use in the Omron PLC that can talk with the TCP screen? I started using the work area memory in the PLC however I noticed when I went to develop my screens I can't access that memory within the TCP unit. Quote
Beryl Posted August 11, 2003 Report Posted August 11, 2003 I belive this is due to the type of PLC you are using. On the CV and C200 series PLC you will not be able to address directly to the working memory area. You will need to move the data in to a different area. ie.DM Quote
