Software module without output?

I have bought a Siemens Logo with software and I am a beginner.
Testing with ladder programming and have a problem. When I use timers of various kinds, for example on/off delay, I get no output Q? why? In manual you have Q for output? see images /Thanks!

Are you holding Trg on the whole time?  (Look at the timing diagram in the symbol.)

I suggest you to connect something at input of the timer.

A digital input connected at timer iblock at Trg.

Also at output Q of timer you to have connect something digital.

Then you will have the possibility to monitor status of timer.

Might be a memory marker, for example M, or even a digital output like Q1.

Then, pay attention to Way how the timer is triggered. At rising edge of signal, or at falling edge of signal.

Also, as in your photo, the length of signal should have a minimum duration.

I suggest you to use SIMULATION  mode of software.

Press F3 key, and at lower side of screen you may activate virtual inputs, or you may see the status of yours binary output.
