jdcontrolsltd Posted October 12, 2024 Report Posted October 12, 2024 I have to control a flow valve, for a hydraulic regulating valve. I have a stepper motor, 1.8* step, regulating valve 0-270* opening. I m pulsing the stepper motor driver for CW/CCW. My issue is i set the valve to open from 0 to 50* , 30 on my hmi screen. This requires reducing, so i enter 25, My only means of measurement is counting the pulses immitted from the PLC. I have the Original 30 input, i now need to move reverse 5 pulses, and this may need increasing /decreasing to find the correct flow of pressure. This is operating a band saw in a foundry, and it limits the lowering of the blade while cutting, Quote
seroke Posted November 13, 2024 Report Posted November 13, 2024 Hello , can you share your programme ? i hope i will help you. Dont send all of programme. Just this part. With HMI Quote
Integrator_99 Posted November 13, 2024 Report Posted November 13, 2024 Hello jdcontrolsltd, Which PLC are you using? If your PLC has these instructions, you may want to look at DSZR to home the motor and DDRVI/DDRVA to generate pulses for incremental/absolute moves. Quote
