R88D-KT08H Firmware

So i've got a couple of drives I'm trying to push backed up programs into and they appear to be the wrong version.

These are for R88D-KT0H drives.

The backups are V1.2X and the drives are V1.0 

 

The issue I have is when I try to push it in it will convert the 1.2X to a 1.0 and I lose a bunch of parameters that aren't present in the older version. I realistically need to update the drive but for the life of me I can't find any kind of firmware or update information for these drives. Any help or insight would be appreciated, Omron support hasn't answered the phone or responded in 2 days now.

I find that odd although I haven't tried to contact them in a while. Email has worked well for me in the past.

Omron does not support user firmware upgrades. You need to get an Omron rep to do it for you.

ia.techsupport@omron.com is the current Tech Support email. Tech support doesn't usually tackle Firmware updates though - Field Application Engineers do them. If you have a local AE I would ask them.
