Jean-Paul Posted December 15, 2024 Report Posted December 15, 2024 Good evening, Sorry about my English i am from Belgium I can declare inputs and ouputs without problem and write the program to the plc. From the moment i want to download an program with output and inputs but without external declaration (x0, yo,....) i get a red blinking led (program error). Even at that moment i can compile and simulate teh program withou failure. Even downloading does not give any failure but only the red led is blinking
colandra Posted December 16, 2024 Report Posted December 16, 2024 I have read your issue. What programming software are you using, and what PLC are you communicating with. Something to check quickly, if there is a backup battery on the PLC, make sure it is plugged in. Regards Colandra
Crossbow Posted December 16, 2024 Report Posted December 16, 2024 Not sure what you mean by a program with no external declaration. The only method to reference I/O is with the X and Y addresses. Maybe share a copy of the program so we can see if there is anything obvious?
Parky Posted December 20, 2024 Report Posted December 20, 2024 I have a feeling you are trying to use either GXDeveloper or GXworks2, these do not support the FX only the FX0-3U seen this before & it is probably configured for FX2N or one of the later that is why it compiles & works on a simulator, other problems can be that although it appears that it can be downloaded, if using GXWorks & some of the tags (labels) have not been allocated to actual bits/words like M or D then the old FX's do not support the compile of the un-assigned addresses (these being in the M900 range) .
