basicbill Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 Hi, I am considering the purchase of the ethernet module that works with the Series 90-30 My google search suggests that the model # is IC693CMM321. Is this correct? Also, is there extra software required beyond VersaPro 2.01? Does anyone have any suggestions or hints about configuring the module once installed? Thanks, Bill W. Quote
Steve Bailey Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 The IC693CMM321 is the correct part number. It does not require any additional software beyond the programming software for the PLC (VersaPro or Proficy ME). You assign an IP address in hardware configuration. For communications with other GE Fanuc products, it uses the SRTP protocol which is GE Fanuc's SNP modified for TCP/IP. It can also communicate via Modbus TCP. What are you planning to use the module for? Quote
Guest Guest_Russ Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 It also communicates GE Fanuc EGD (Ethernet Global Data) Quote
