Display HMI content on monitor or TV

Is there an easy way to display the contents of my HMI (Omron NS8 or Weintek HMI) on a large TV.

TV will have HDMI and monitor input.

PLC is Omron CJ2M-CPU31.

If possible I would like to avoid the use of a PC, just copy the contents of my HMI to a TV.

Did you look at the specs of the NS8 ? a quick google and you will find NS-C001 and NS-C002 video output cards for the screens. Never used one. but worth a follow up on your end.

After a quick look these units a re video input units.

I'm looking to go the other direction, display my screen contents on a large monitor or TV.

Nope.  HMI is video display, not video output.

My Bad, regards the NScreen... then I would prob look at the Weintek HMI, in my opinion way more advanced for remote monitoring / access then Omron has available. You can VNC them, or via cloud app. Worse case scenario would be to use a NUC with VNC then display off that. And they are very competitively priced screen, bang for buck so to speak... 😉

Yes, I sure do like Weintek pricing compared to Omron screens.

weincloud sounds like a good option.

Probably get a mini pc of a tablet to connect to Weincloud.

After some more research I found out the Weintek mTV-100 is designed for this. 

It links to your HMI and creates a HDMI output for your TV/monitor.

 

I will quote my project with the mTV-100 and keep you up-to-dateif the customer want to go for this option.
