Software was PL7-3 which only runs on OS/2, never was WIndows based.

That thing has been out of production for several decades, even Schneider stopped being able to support it back in 2010.

And the cable was a very expensive and hard to find cable, almost like an analog signal, not a simple serial cable.

I saw some mentions about it doing a quick Google search.  Best of luck, it's been obsolete for too long...

Hi,

It seems you plc is a TSX47-20 or similar. That means you'll need PL7-2 software that is installed with the Software workshop called XTEL.

Anyway PL7-3 for TSX 47 V4 or V5 is inclued as well in XTEL if necessary.

XTEl run on OS/2. It could be a virtual machine so you can use your laptop but be aware you'll need an usb/RS232 converter in addition to a RS232/current loop converter.

The original RS232/current loop converter was a Westermo MA-21 but a lot of cheap converter from china can be used.

See picture from a friend for an example.

I can help you for the virtual machine. Just send me a pm.

At last the leds on your plc seem to indicate the processor is stone dead... so the software will maybe useless 😟
