Studio5000 version standard vs lite

Hi,

I'm using Studio5000 standard version, and I'm planning to have function block and safety program for guardlogix.

I was going to upgrade to Full version, but in the rockwell catalog, it seems like LITE version is enough for my applications.

I understand the needs of Full version, but what's the pros and cons between STANDARD vs LITE?

It looks like LITE version is more powerful than STANDARD version

I got this PDF recently. Here is a quick screenshot and the whole PDF. See if that helps.

Is Lite the version that supports CompactLogix only? We're in the middle of commissioning a new system and the builder had only ever used CompactLogix but this one uses ControlLogix and they needed a higher license.

This wording is TRICKY here....I had to read it three times..... But I believe you are CORRECT.

Lite and Mini support "all editions of compact logix" does not list controllogix.

Pro, Full, Standard Networx and Standard support those controllers and CONTROLOGIX and GUARDLOGIX.
