Borni Posted March 20 Report Posted March 20 Hi, I'm using a R04EN plc, and I cannot connect to it either via USB either via Ethernet. I tried with GX Works 3 and EtherNetIP Configuration Tool for RJ71EIP91 but it detects nothing. What can I do? Thank you
Crossbow Posted March 20 Report Posted March 20 Default IP for the CPU port is 192.168.3.39 and you should be able to connect if you set a different IP in 192.168.3.x USB should work as long as the drivers properly installed in Windows. There's literally no way to turn it off. EIP configurator has nothing to do with built in CPU ports, only the EIP91 module.
Crossbow Posted March 20 Report Posted March 20 In the communication settings in GX3, click the CPU Module Direct Coupled Setting and pick USB, then Connection Test should show a valid connection.
