Webbs Posted May 7 Report Posted May 7 I have been having errors with ConfiguratorFDT since I tried PACTware on my laptop. After speaking with Omron support I used the CX Cleaner and did a full uninstall and new install of CX-One and Sysmac Studio. The error still remailed. I just did the update to the latest version with the Omron updater and this hasn't fixed the issue. The laptop is running Windows 10. I get the following error when I update the catalogue --------------------------- Warning - CX-ConfiguratorFDT --------------------------- Some errors occur during Device Catalogue updating: OMRON.PBMstDtm.1: Could not start DTM. --------------------------- Close --------------------------- I am also unable to add a Banner T30R IO Link device as I get this error --------------------------- Error - CX-ConfiguratorFDT --------------------------- Execution of operation failed, because start of DTM failed. --------------------------- Close --------------------------- I can add it on an older machine. I have uninstalled the IODD file, reinstalled it, copied it from a working machine and it is the same. Has anyone else had these types of errors and has anyone used PACTware and ConfiguratorFDT together? Quote
chelton Posted May 7 Report Posted May 7 Are you running the program as an administrator? I think i've seen similar when having permission issues. Quote
Webbs Posted May 7 Author Report Posted May 7 (edited) Thanks for the quick reply. I have tried running it both ways with the same result. It was running as an administrator when I got the errors this morning. I did have an issue trying to do something in the past which was caused by not being in administrator mode, so I now always run as an administrator. I can add all the other IO Link devices I had on the machine and all the new ones I have installed. Edited May 7 by Webbs Quote
