Premkumar.m Posted June 19 Report Posted June 19 Recently installed GX Works3 software. But I could not open the PLC Backup file in it. It shows: Unable to open the project. The following are the possible causes. Project file does not exist in specified path. - The project file is read only or write-protected. - Insufficient memory to open the project. Data in the project file is corrupted. - Characters such as "%'*/:<>?\| are used in the project file name, and is used at end of name. An invalid environment dependent character has been included in the folder name or file name of the specified project.

Parky Posted June 23 Report Posted June 23 I wonder if it is a GXW2 or GXDEV file GXW3 does not support the early FX/A/Q series only the later IQF types. 1
