PLC Program Upload/Write Error in GX Works2 with Q00U CPU – Help Needed
Hi everyone, I'm new to PLC automation and recently tried replacing a faulty Q00U CPU (Q-mode) with the same model using GX Works2. I faced several issues during program upload/write.

🛠 What I Did:
Tried to upload program from old PLC but upload failed.

Then I separately uploaded Program + Parameters, and Device Memory.

Installed the new Q00U CPU, and attempted to write the Program + Parameters, and then Device Memory.

⚠ Errors Faced:
Program Read Error:

"Parameter and device memory has been read at the same time... Press the Default button in Device Data Detail settings to adjust the device range."

Program Write Error (Prog + Parameter):

"Some parameters are not supported by the PLC. Example: Step Relay 1K–7K points set. Use compatible CPU or change range."

Device Memory Write Error:

"Device memory range is out of parameter setting. Use Default button in Device Data Detail settings."

Temporary Fix:
I manually changed the Step Relay range from 1K to 8K, which allowed the Program + Parameter to write. But still get error when writing Device Memory.

Question:
If both PLCs are the same model, why are there parameter/device range conflicts?
How can I safely write full device memory without changing original parameter settings?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I would first upload the program and parameters.  After that, go back and upload device memory separately.  This error typically occurs because you create a new project which uses the default parameters, and they do not match the controller's parameters.  The amount of each memory area is adjustable, so customers who need more data memory can reduce for example timers and counters.

So create a new project and upload only programs and parameters.  That should succeed without errors.

Once that upload is complete, then try to go back online and read the device memory, so the project has the same parameters as the PLC and the memory sizes all match.

Thanks. I Did Exactly the same for Prog Upload. But now im stuck at the Prog Write. As i mentioned in the Post

When writing the device memory, there will be a Detail button to the right of the check box.  Set the range to be downloaded and make sure it stays within the configured range in parameters...image.thumb.png.765d1ccdd99bcb8da7118255fb5afbbe.png

Yes also with it i had to update the GXW2 Software (I updated all of mitsubishi PLC softwares) then did all the steps that mentioned then it worked without any issue.  My GXW2 was updated latest but one new update arrived in this month i just updated and it worked (Modified the step relay as the error showing).

Thanks For the Help. (Sry for late reply)
