TiagoSim0 Posted October 21 Report Posted October 21 Guys, help me out here. I have a PLC model Melsec A1SHCPU from Mitsubishi and I need to upload the program from its memory. But unfortunately the previous user has set a password to upload. I have no contact with the former user. Is there any way to remove this password and upload?
Crossbow Posted October 21 Report Posted October 21 Discussion bypassing passwords is not allowed on these forums.
TiagoSim0 Posted October 21 Author Report Posted October 21 I don't want to bypass the password. I'd like a way to upload without needing it.

TiagoSim0 Posted October 21 Author Report Posted October 21 The company that designed the machine no longer exists, having closed its doors. Unfortunately, I have no contact with any of its former members, and I need to read this program. My intentions aren't bad; it's just a difficulty due to the company closing its doors.

You could call Mitsubishi and attempt to prove ownership of this machine. I've never done this with Mitsubishi but this is Omron policy. You could perform an internet search for former members of the OEM. Maybe Linkedin? These are two legitimate options and the best advice you'll get from this forum.
TiagoSim0 Posted October 27 Author Report Posted October 27 Ok, thank you for by education in the response.
