ElectroFireman01 Posted July 24, 2005 Report Posted July 24, 2005 I work at a distribution company that runs conveyor logic through a profibus network. In the electrical cabinets theres a port that can, I suppose, hook up to a laptop. Does anyone know if there's software I need or can use for troubleshooting the electrical system in our plant? Thanx Quote
OIDMBTRTECH Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 Most likely yes. We will need to know the manufacturer of the equipment with the PORT you think will allow you to connect a laptop. Quote
Chris Elston Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 A digital picture would be nice... Quote
wwyatt Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 I think a little more info would be nice but from what I have seen of what I believe is simular it is for a lap top that has the assembly language programming software. If you have the software great but otherwise it does little good. Most OEm companies never give the source code to the customer. Quote
