desuhardi Posted July 29, 2005 Report Posted July 29, 2005 I want to change old scada with new. Some suppliers give Intellution or Wonderware, and other give SoftGOT. I already knew about Intellution and Wonderware, but never use SoftGOT. When looked on net, I can't found detail information about SoftGOT. What is different (plus/minus) between SoftGOT with others, like as intellution or wonderware ? And where can I found detail information about SoftGOT ? Thank you Quote
panic mode Posted July 30, 2005 Report Posted July 30, 2005 GOT is Mitsubishi's name for HMI (graphical opertator terminal or something like that). If you visit www.meau.com you will see what they are all about. SoftGOT is software package that turns any PC into GOT. This is becoming more popular since industrial PCs with touchscreens are similarily priced as large GOTs. Also on PC you can have loads of other software installed to help you when machine is down (view and edit plc program, open drawings or pdf manuals etc.). Quote
