Guest Frazzled Posted August 5, 2005 Report Posted August 5, 2005 So I do not have to spend an hour or so trying to find the information in the manuals or website. Does anyone know what bit or bits represent when a S7-315 DP PLC is in run mode? Thanks in advance! Quote
Guest Guest Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 A PLC program is executed only when a PLC is running. So why would you need this bit for ? Quote
Crossbow Posted August 8, 2005 Report Posted August 8, 2005 Some PLCs do not let you tie outputs or commands directly to the left hand power rail in ladder. So you use an always on bit to put on the left of the instruction so it basically works the same as a horizontal line. Quote
