gravitar Posted August 9, 2005 Report Posted August 9, 2005 I'm glad I didn't train on a Siemens PLC, as they aren't very popular here in Detroit! come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen one! Now where you live, it might be a different story. I would guess that Siemens would have a pretty large installed base in Europe, possibly other parts of the world as well. That would be one of my main criteria in deciding what to train on. You want to be able to quickly and easily (and profitably!) apply the skills you learn, right? Quote
Thorny Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 Seimens S7 is THE most popular here in Europe, it seems as though most new installs are Seimens, its a good starting point, followed by Allen Bradley, ModiconTSX and lastly Mitsubishi (Mostly I have found in food and Beverage) Quote
