Gnomes Posted August 25, 2005 Report Posted August 25, 2005 Hello, As I've read here numerous times before on the site, I'm a rookie when it comes to this PLC fun. I've had very minimal exposure to the PLC world and at the plant I'm working at now we are trying to replace some complicated, sometimes problematic custom made control system with some PLC's. We have a VersaMax starter kit with a cpu001 that I'm playing around with trying to learn whatever I can. I was just wondering what some "professionals" think about the following code and any other ways on how to accomplish something similar. The first couple of rungs are just me goofing around, the rest I was trying to have an output turn on for a bit then off and on again, then after a few times it would stop. I was also wondering if there is any way to make the input_4 switch, function as a one shot with the plc I have. The program was only made for me to become a little familier with the machine edition software and how to program and work with this PLC. I wasn't sure how to insert a picture of the program into the text, so hopefully it is able to attach. Thanks for any replies! Quote
