maccxim Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 I need to connect US Robotics 56K modem with FX2N plc using FX2N-232BD. Anybody know the AT commands to setting modems on pc side (same US Robotics) and on plc side? I have to use only Melsec Medoc to communicate. Best regards Max Quote
waynes Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 Hi Max, Here is the European Telecom Standard list of AT commands. I downloaded this a while ago when I was researching the communication to a gsm modem. Good luck. etsi0707.pdf Quote
maccxim Posted September 8, 2005 Author Report Posted September 8, 2005 Thank you for your .pdf. But your documentation is about GSM modem. I have an analog modem. Max Quote
Guest sirPLC Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 Hello, You can try the following init-strings: Modem connected to PC: AT&F&D0&K0&W Answering modem - connected to FX-system: AT&F&D0&K0Q1E0S0=1&C1&W I've tested these strings when using PowerBit-, Westermo- and SixNet-modems and they have worked fine every time! I hope that you can connect to the PLC using the above mentioned strings, if you have more questions don't hesitate to ask, I've worked a lot with modems. /sirPLC Quote
