justantyme Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 I have not been able to get my hitech hmi to communicate with my fx - 64m ess plc. can anyone tell me if they have done, or know how to do so thanks Quote
waynes Posted September 7, 2005 Report Posted September 7, 2005 Hi justantyme, 1. Are you sure that this HMI can connect to the plc? i.e. is there a melsec driver. 2. Are you using the correct interface. It is very easy to confuse RS232 w/ RS485 connections. If you have layout of the Hitech hmi's pins, we can assist by providing the FX's pin layout. WayneS Quote
justantyme Posted September 7, 2005 Author Report Posted September 7, 2005 yes i am using this cable config at link http://www.hitech-america.com/plc-pws/mits...ts-fx2-fx2n.pdf i also am using the installed protocall in the hmi for mitsubishi fx series Quote
maccxim Posted September 8, 2005 Report Posted September 8, 2005 Your hmi is connected directly to the prog. port of plc? Which type of message you see on your hmi? The cable is too long? Have you contacted the hitech company? Try also to connect to other Fx plc. I don't know hitech hmi but are you sure the driver you have installed provides the communication with FX2N cpu? On your softw. developm. you can see the choiche FX2N ? bye Max Quote
