LSV Posted September 21, 2005 Report Posted September 21, 2005 Hi, I'm new with Siemens. I have OP270 and OP27 that are running. I have to do some edits on that screens and I do not have source files. As far as I know ProSave can give me only the backup file that cannot be modified. Do I have any options to upload the program from the screen and do make changes? Or the only option is to rewrite the program. Thanks. Quote
JesperMP Posted September 22, 2005 Report Posted September 22, 2005 For the OP27 you definitely need the source file. For the OP270 there is a remote chance that the program was saved on the panel with the "enable upload" option turned on. In that case there must be a CompactFlash card inserted in the rear of the panel (because the Program is really saved on the CF card). You should then be able to upload the program to Protool. If there is no CF card in the panel, or the "enable upload" option wasnt turned on, then it is the same as for the OP27. Quote
