Chris Elston Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 I started on my Halloween Props for 2005. This years theme is the wizard of oz. Here are some pictures: http://www.plchalloween.com/index.php?ind=...on_view&idev=21 Anyone else do this stuff for Halloween, or am I the only crazy one? Quote
PdL Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 Well as you might know, here in Europe Halloween isn't by far the madness as it is up there in the States. But man.. that looks real cool! Thanks for letting us in on your project Trick or treat ! Quote
Big Country Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 I agree, That is great that you are putting your talent towards entertaining the young'ns. Good Job! Quote
Chris Elston Posted October 14, 2005 Author Report Posted October 14, 2005 Been doing it for seven years. Only had pictures and videos since 2003 on the website. I had 550 kids last year, it's a blast! Quote
gravitar Posted October 15, 2005 Report Posted October 15, 2005 That is too cool! I don't know how you find the time to put on such an elaborate show. You should talk to A-B public relations.. I'm sure they would sponsor you and give you cool free stuff to build up your haunted house with :) Quote
Chris Elston Posted October 15, 2005 Author Report Posted October 15, 2005 I would rather A-B public relation sponsor our robotics team: http://www.teamthrust.us/ I help mentor a group of high school kids and we need all the support we can get... I get most of my stuff on ebay, I just bought qty 10 GE illumated push button 22.5mm brand new, LED bulb for like $28.00 buy it now...that was a SWEET deal... Quote
Guest HalBishop Posted October 17, 2005 Report Posted October 17, 2005 The robotics team I work with went to Boeing for sponsorship. They have a major presence in the Wichita, Kansas area. They declined to support what will be the crucible where the next generation of engineers will be forged. We went to Airbus and they not only offered monetary support, they have some of their engineering staff act as mentors to the team. So much for the argument of buying American if you are an American. Chris Elston Posted October 17, 2005 Author Report Posted October 17, 2005 Hal! Your in Kansas! Did you know there is 2.1 million dollars available to start a team in Kansas? http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthre...ighlight=kansas Quote
