Héctor Tovar Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 Hi I'm a beginner using In Touch. I want to make a HMI using my PC and a S7-200 (CPU 224). Can Somebody help and tell me what I need to do this? Quote
Crossbow Posted October 28, 2005 Report Posted October 28, 2005 InTouch should use an OPC server to handle all comms to collect data from the PLC. You can get an OPC server from Siemens (S7-200 PC Access) or Kepware (KepserverEX has drivers for Siemens S7-200). Quote
Firetubes Posted October 29, 2005 Report Posted October 29, 2005 Wonderware has IO servers for some of the more popular PLC's. If your Intouch license allows I/O connectivity, you can use their IO server for free. See the list from the the link below. Wonderware IO servers are in red and 3rd party IO server that have been tested with their product in blue. Siemens I/O Servers Quote
