STORMRIDER Posted November 6, 2005 Report Posted November 6, 2005 JUST WANDERING IF THERE ARE ANY DOWNLOADS FOR SOMEONE TO USE ON THE PC FOR PRACTICING HOW TO WRITE?? I MEAN TO SEE HOW ONE N.C. RELAY AND A N.O. RELAY WORKS WHEN TURNED ON? MY NEPHEW HAS BEEN LOOKING OVER SOME OF MY WORK AND SOMETIMES I GET BACKWARDS. IT WOULD BE REAL NICE TO TRY IT ON THE COMPUTER WITHOUT BUYING A PLC, ALL THE CABLES AND HOOKUPS! I CAN'T ALWAYS TAKE HIM TO WORK WITH ME. Quote
panic mode Posted November 6, 2005 Report Posted November 6, 2005 look for plc simulators or programming software that includes simulator. you can download for free software for Zelio for example and test either ladder of function block logic. although not meant for full blown plc, it's free and will give good idea of what can be done... http://www.plctalk.net/qanda/ is about to have online simulator in just few hours (counter is down to 7 hours 50 minutes right now). waynes Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 For Mits PLC there is GX-Simulator. Maybe you can obtain this from your mits distributor. Current version I have is 6. Quote
