redbobolink Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 I've been a member for a while but this is my first post, so hello to everyone. I have experience with PLC programming, but I would like to learn more about networking, data logging and VB interfacing and how they all work together. I don't know much about it all. I don't even know where to start, my knowledge of networking and VB is basic. At this point I don't even know what I don't know. Does anyone know of training class I could take or good books I could buy? I looked into classes at a local college but I would like something more geared towards the automation industry. Any help as to where to start would be appreciated. Thanks. Quote
Chris Elston Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 When you say networking, do you mean computer networking? Or networking PLCs? And what type of network? Ethernet? Device net? etc... Quote
