rbyrne15 Posted November 16, 2005 Report Posted November 16, 2005 I was wondering whether someone could explain how to address the bit in the status word of a Momentum processor, which denotes that the PLC is in its first scan. In Allen Bradley, this bit has the addres "S:1/15" - but in the Modicon equipment I have no idea. Even better than an explanation would be a pointer to the relevant page in the help file. Thanks, Richard Byrne. (Soon to be Technologist) Quote
rob_m Posted November 25, 2005 Report Posted November 25, 2005 I think that Modicon have not such a bit. Work around : Put a coil into the first network, first row and first colomn, connected to the left vertical line. A "transitional on" contact of that coil will be close only during the first scan. Hope this helps. Quote

rbyrne15 Posted November 27, 2005 Author Report Posted November 27, 2005 Thanks to both of you for the replies. I like the look of the workaround quoted above. It's now stored in my brain's programming toolbox. Richard. Quote
