I don't mean to pick on people, but this gives me a chuckle. I don't think the person that put together this webpage knows too much about automation. Can you spot what's wrong? http://www.gallardindustries.com/showcase/...lue_machine.htm

Hi Folks....I believe the picture is upsidedown instead of the SLC 500. I tried to enlarge it enough to look at the key stuck in the processor but could never get it sharp enough to tell , but it looks like it is hanging up. But I'm not really sure so I'll just laugh either way and go on. Later...Todd

Well, while we can't make many judgements on the control system just from the pictures, chakorules hit it dead on that the whoever built the web page doesn't know anything about controls.

Haha.. too funny. I would have to guess that the SLC was installed correctly in the panel, but the web developer had no clue :) Can't blame 'em though.. If they knew industrial controls they wouldn't be designing web pages! At least the indexer and robot weren't shown suspended from the ceiling..

Ok, apparently controls isn't the only area in which they're lacking. Reading another page.. "Gallard Industries, Inc. helped design and manufacture 4000 fuel vent assemblies for Boeing's CH47 Schnook helicopter." I guess Boeing sells "Chinook" helicopters to NATO countries.. The "Schnook" variant is reserved for North Korea and People's Republic of China :)
