jaycee Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 When the function guidance display is activated I only see a simulation of the function keys at the bottom of the window with no discriptions of the shortcuts that they are used for. Is there any way to add discriptions to the keys to indicate what macros they activate? The online help is not very informative in this reguard. Newbie Quote
PdL Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 I don't quite understand what you mean. Are you referring to this screen ? And what exactly is the problem ? Quote
Guest anonymous Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 Hello Jaycee, CX=Programmer does not use any of the Function keys by default (except 'F7' - Compile). The option to display this is greyed-out in the 'View' menu, but can still be invoked using the 'Ctrl + Shift + F' keys (This shouldn't really be allowed). The Function keys are a throwback to SYSMAC and SYSWIN software. CX-Programmer allows you to map the keyboard (Tools \ Keyboard Mapping \ Re-map All) to use the same shortcut (and Function) keys as these two older packages. (Talk about keeping existing customers happy!). Hope this helps explain things. Regards anonymous Quote
