Chris Elston Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 Unit would flash the LEDs like normal when no laser head was connected. Then when you would connect any laser head to this amplifier the LED reading would go to ZERO and not power up the laser head unit. Tried other laser head units just to make sure it wasn't just the laser head. Basically this amplifier was DOA out of the box.
Clay B. Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Contact Keyance. They are very good about replacing DOA's. I have had this same amplifier do the same thing. I had a new one in 24 hours and sent the bad one back. Got credit on the bad one in 72 hours though the sales rep for Keyence said credit usually take 2 to 3 weeks.
