TimWilborne Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 (edited) I just noticed MrPLC just hit 30,000 post. Edited April 2, 2006 by TWControls Quote
Chris Elston Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 Hey thanks! Now if we could just figure out how to the almost 18,000 members to post something once a day, we would have a mass chaos on our hands! Quote
Sleepy Wombat Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 30,000.... With the addition of TWcontrols, BobL and the elk the AB forum seems to be thriving with activity, i am sure that the next 10,000 will come in no time..... Quote
TimWilborne Posted April 2, 2006 Author Report Posted April 2, 2006 This is by far the greatest control forum. I ventured out and tried a couple of other forums but in my eyes they just don't compare to MrPLC. This one has absolutely the best design and I like the people here . Sleepy - Probably a brain fart on my part but who is the elk Quote
Sleepy Wombat Posted April 3, 2006 Report Posted April 3, 2006 "elk" fat fingers sleepy strike again, should have read ilk maening of the same type... Sorry for the typo... Quote
TimWilborne Posted April 3, 2006 Author Report Posted April 3, 2006 Oh Ok, I thought you were making fun of Ken Quote
robh Posted April 3, 2006 Report Posted April 3, 2006 I agree 110%! Since I work in a manufacturing plant, I don't always get to "get out", and talk and share ideas with people who work on the type of things that I do. I have learned a lot from everything I have read here. This is the best place I have found. Thanks! Quote
TimWilborne Posted April 14, 2006 Author Report Posted April 14, 2006 Wasn't just 12 days ago I started this thread? And look, 1000 more post. Might not be long and Chakorules visions of the mass chaos from the 18,000 post a day may come true Quote
Contr_Conn Posted April 14, 2006 Report Posted April 14, 2006 Looks like activity significantly increased during last couple months. Good for all members, maybe bad for Chako Quote
gravitar Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 Imagine what the scan time would be if you were running a soft PLC program on that computer :) Quote
BobLfoot Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 I just hope linux is kinder to the multiprocessor architecture than windows 2000 was on the dual xeon box we used for video processing in the tv studio. it crashed with alarming regularity. Quote
Contr_Conn Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 (edited) I wish I own one too My buddy does video conversion and he has dual zeon setup. I know he built few machines like this for other people - must have for video Edited April 15, 2006 by Contr_Conn Quote
Contr_Conn Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 What about this new Raptor with cool window: Quote
Chris Elston Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 Makes me wanna spend an extra $100 for it already ....I just about choked, and thought about it for WEEKS, asking myself why I am spending 2.5 times more and get less storage for a normal raptor a year ago.... I wish someone ELSE would come out with a drive with the same spec so that Western Digital wouldn't be allowed to set the market price of these drives.....but they sure are sweet! Quote
