Paulio Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 I heard that mitsubishi have reworked the basic model cpu to include ascii conversion commands. Is this true? If so, Ive been dealt an old model because mine does not. Also, does anyone know a way around this? Cheers Quote
panic mode Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 i just checked same SH(NA)080039 manual and all Q series CPUs (including basic such as Q00J) support VAL and DVAL instructions. I created sample project for this CPU, created rung with both instructions and compiled: Tech ManualSH(NA)080039-J 18.94MB PDF QCPU(Q Mode)_QnACPU Programming (Common Instructions) 10/19/2005 Quote
Paulio Posted May 19, 2006 Author Report Posted May 19, 2006 Thanks PR, i managed to figure it out. I needed to add a + or - to my string for the conversion to work correctly. Quote
